DR. JERRY E. GALLOWAY 

Professional Background

Dr. Jerry Galloway is a native of Greenwood, South Carolina. He is a comprehensive eye surgeon and physician with a special interest in vitreoretinal surgery and diseases, complicated eye reconstructive procedures, high risk surgical cataract patients, and premium IOL (multifocal and toric) cataract surgery. He has been on staff at Self Regional Healthcare System and practicing in Greenwood, SC since 1984. In 2003, he left his previous practice affiliation and formed his own practice, Galloway Regional Eye Center, PA. He completed construction on his new state of the art facility in 2005. 

Education

In 1976, he graduated from Clemson University with high honors, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1980 from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC and in 1981 he completed his internship at the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at West Virginia University School of Medicine in 1984. Dr. Galloway is Board Certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
